Lifeboat horse, Wells

£595.00

The lifeboat horse sculpture  stands proud on a sandbank in the Wells-next-the-Sea harbour, Norfolk. Sculpted by the artist Rachel Long in 2018, it stands in memory of the work horses used to pull the 30ft lifeboats in and out of the harbour.

My painting has a hand printed background with a hand printed linocut horse. It is then hand painted using metallic inks. Each print will vary slightly due to this process, each becoming an original piece of art.

Artwork Size: 60cms x 40cms

Bespoke metallic bronze effect frame (79cms x 59cms) and a double mount

For every painting sold on my website
£75 will be donated to RNLI charity and a further
£75 will be donated to The Horse Trust providing retirement and respite for working horses and ponies.
